Description
While reviewing these one hundred images selected for The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum exhibition, I realized that my pictures form one, big, happy family. Every image in this visual autobiography has its own singular identity and story, but each is also closely related to the others, irrespective of their subject matter, location or technique. Whereas it seems that I was introduced to photography only yesterday, it was actually forty-five years ago, while studying painting and drawing at the Banbury School of Art. Photography and I immediately became best friends, and we set out together on a journey to explore our strange and amazing world. The odyssey continues to this day.
